Countries Find out Who They Will Play in the World Cup

The draw for the World Cup took place on the 4th December in Cape Town. There were many sporting greats deciding the fate of the various countries around the world as they picked teams out of the hat. David Beckham was amongst the stars that made the draw.Thousands of fans will now be able to secure their world cup packages to be at the World Cup.The first match of the World Cup will be the Group A match between South Africa and Mexico in Johannesburg at 16:00. Other teams in Group A include Uruguay and France. Group B is made up Argentina, Nigeria, Greece and Korea Republic, Argentina will be favourites to win this group despite almost failing to qualify for the finals. England and USA were drawn in the same group and will battle it out at the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg. There will be many fans getting their England world cup packages to see their country hopefully qualify for the knockout stages. Algeria and Slovenia are the other two teams in Group C. The first match in Group E is between the Netherlands and Denmark in the Soccer City Stadium in Joannesbury. Cameroon v Japan is the other opening game in Group E, they will play in Bloemfontein. The current World Champions, Italy, start their defence of the world cup against Paraguay. They will then take on New Zealand and Slovakia.Usual favourites for the title, Brazil, have be drawn against Portugal. Portugal had to rely on an extra qualifying game to be at the World Cup. Korea DPR and the Ivory Coast complete Group G. The game against Portugal should be a great encounter with two great footballing countries. The European champions, Spain, are in Group H along with Honduras, Chile and Switzerland. Torres and co will be looking to win the World Cup too now with such a strong squad. There a many different travel companies offering world cup packages for the different stages of the World Cup. Fans will be able to enjoy some great football at some amazing stadiums in South Africa.
